Why Germany?①

A lot of people ask me "why did you choose Germany to do a working holiday?"

(To answer this question, I have to tell you a long story, so I'm going to upload it in two parts.)

Actually, I've been to Germany once before last summer.

I graduated from high school last March and I had time to do a part time job to earn money for about 6 months, because my university starts from September.

In May, one of my German friends asked me "When will you come to germany?". Luckily I had time then, so I checked my schedule immediatly and decided to go to Germany in late June for about 2 weeks.

I stayed at his place during that time. I did sightseeing by myself and also went to his high school on weekdays to have the experience. At his high school I could make some good friends.

Moreover, I'm interested in art, history and architecture, so Berlin is a very interesting city for me.

There are a lot of historical buildings, and art is thriving there and many artists live in Berlin. Also, Berlin is known as the city with the largest number of museums in Germany.

I enjoyed this two weeks very much and could learn a lot of things during these weeks. There are many kinds of differences to Japan. Culture, people, history, language and so on. After I went back Japan, I was usually thinking about my days in Berlin. Since I could make some friends there, I wanted to go to Germany again.

In September, I entered the university and my new life started. However, after 2 months had passed, I suddenly thought I have to do something different . I'll talk about it specific in next part.

Have a good day~
